If you tend to experience pain while being waxed, it would be wise to take an over-the-counter pain reliever before your appointment. Avoid tanning 24 hours prior to your appointment. Avoid any sweat-inducing exercise directly before your appointment. After your appointment has concluded, avoid heavy direct sunlight on the waxed areas as sunburn on the freshly waxed skin can be very painful.For our female clients, avoid waxing when your skin is sensitive. We typically advise avoiding scheduling an appointment during your time of the month as your skin is incredibly sensitive at this time.
